Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 January 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Project Completion Management ("PCM") website and project portal (collectively, the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Scope of services

The Site provides general information about PCM's commissioning and project-completion consultancy and, for authorised users, access to project workspaces. Information on the Site is provided for general guidance and does not constitute engineering advice. Specific advice is provided only under a written engagement agreement.

3. Account & portal access

  • Portal credentials are issued for use by the named individual only and must not be shared.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access.
  • We may suspend or revoke access where misuse, security concerns, or termination of the underlying engagement require.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Site in violation of applicable law; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data; (c) probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site except under our written responsible-disclosure process; (d) interfere with operation of the Site; or (e) upload malicious code or content infringing third-party rights.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the public Site — including text, graphics, logos, methodologies, and software — is owned by PCM or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may view and download content for legitimate, non-commercial reference. Project deliverables produced under an engagement are governed by the relevant engagement agreement.

6. Third-party content & links

The Site may reference industry standards (e.g. CIBSE, BSRIA, ASHRAE) and link to third-party resources. PCM is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of external sites.

7. Disclaimers

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PCM disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PCM, its directors, employees, and sub-consultants shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business, arising out of or in connection with use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, death, or personal injury where such limitation is prohibited by law. Liabilities arising under a separate engagement agreement are governed by that agreement.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PCM from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature survive termination shall remain in effect.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at PCM's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Contact

Questions regarding these Terms can be sent via our contact page.
